El Paso unveils A.I. kiosk at Fort Bliss to streamline soldiers’ court services

With the hopes of saving soldiers time, on Wednesday, the El Paso County unveiled a new AI-powered information kiosk at Fort Bliss meant to help military members and their families access court services.

The new Advanced Robot Solutions kiosk, located at the Fort Bliss Soldier Support Center, uses Artificial Intelligence to help soldiers navigate through court services and help them get marriage licenses, birth certificates and library cards among other things.

Offering services in both English and Spanish, the El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego said this new kiosk will hopefully save soldiers a trip downtown.

Samaniego called the new kiosk a “huge step” in the continuing relationship between the County and Fort Bliss, adding that his objective remains to keep veterans in El Paso after they’re done with their military service.

Garrison Commander of U.S. Army Fort Bliss Colonel Brendan Gallagher appeared happy with the new kiosk.

Gallagher mentioned how the kiosk caters to the community by offering services bilingual.

Furthermore, Gallagher called the unveiling an example of why El Paso is “the veteran’s capital of the USA.”
